May 28, 2024 - The East Coast International Pro Stock Tour got its season underway last Saturday at Speedway 660 in the Geary Woods near Fredericton, NB. Jarrett Butcher #54 got the win after a hard fought battle with Ashton Tucker #52 and a masterful pass with 2 laps to go ending Tucker's unbeaten streak reaching back to last season. Cory Hall #83 came home in third but failed post race tech and was DQ'd.

May 21, 2024 - A wet forecast caused postponement of the Kenny U-Pull 150 on the East Coast International Pro Stock Tour last Saturday at Scotia Speedworld but we got some racing in on Sunday with the SSW local classes opening their season Sunday afternoon. Deven Smith #94 won the 40 lap Maritime Auto Glass Sportsman feature.

May 15, 2024 - Our track side season kicked off last Saturday at Petty Raceway with the Easy Kleen Super Late Model Series. Ashton Tucker #2 continued his winning ways from last season and took the checkers in the Fog City Auto Spa 150. Dennis Nickerson #78 won the Power Electric 100 feature for the AutoWorld Maritime All Star Series Late Model Sportsman.

October 18, 2023 - Ashton Tucker #2 cannot be stopped. He completed the hat trick on October 7 at the Mike Stevens Memorial 254 at Petty Raceway taking the checkers for the third straight regional Pro Stock / Super Late Model race to end the season in style! Brady Creamer #10 was declared the winner in the Sportsman 104 event Friday night, October 6 after the event was shortened by race control due to time constraints.

October 4, 2023 - Ashton Tucker # 2 is on a roll taking his second win in a row in Pro Stock / Super Late Model racing winning the Old Fashion Meat Market 150 for the Super Late Model Series last weekend at Petty Raceway. The Series crowned its first champion after last weekends contest. Dylan Gosbee #16 used consistency and 1 series win on his way to his biggest championship to date. Congratulations Dylan!

September 27, 2023 - Ashton Tucker # 2 became a 2 time winner on the East Coast International Pro Stock Tour last Saturday at Scotia Speedworld when he won the Tirecraft 200 season finale. Craig Slaunwhite # 99 made history with his second place finish and third consecutive ECIPST Championship. No one has accomplished that before. Congratulations Craig!

September 13, 2023 - Greg Proude #29 battled his way to the front and held on to win the Modern Pumps & Metals 150 for the East Coast International Pro Stock Tour last Saturday at Riverside Speedway. Deven Smith #94 took the NAPA/Henry's AutoPro 100 for the AutoWorld Maritime All Star Series Sportsman. Hurricane Lee has forced Petty International Raceway to postpone their biggest, richest racing event of the year. The Mike Stevens Memorial weekend slated for September 15 and 16 has been moved in its entirety to the Thanksgiving weekend, October 6, 7 and 8.

September 7, 2023 - Dave O'Blenis #48 scored his second Pro Stock 250 win at Speedway 660 last weekend only 21 years after his first win in that event. Congratulations Dave! Ashton Tucker #11 made his first start in a Sportsman car on Saturday during Speedweekend and came out with a victory after Brady Creamer #10 was DQ'd in post race tech inspection. Luc McLaughlin #11 took the Street Stock 100 on Friday night to kick off the weekend.

August 22, 2023 - Jarrett Butcher #54 made it 3 Tour wins last Saturday night at the East Coast International 150 at Riverside Speedway in the 250th race the Tour has had since it started on May 12, 2001. Meanwhile, the new Super Late Model Series ran their 5th race of the season at Speedway 660 also last Saturday with Cory Hall #83 becoming the first repeat winner on that Series.

August 15, 2023 - Dylan Blenkhorn #67 made the Summer Clash 250 his first Tour race of the season and walked away with the win. It wasn't easy going 2 laps down with mechanical issues but he and his team persevered, got back on the lead lap and battled to the front getting by Ashton Tucker #2 and Nicolas Naugle #08 who finished 2nd and 3rd.

August 9, 2023 - Dylan Gosbee #16 had to wait an extra day due to weather but finally got his first win on the Super Late Model Series last Sunday afternoon at Oyster Bed Speedway to pad his points lead on the series. Troy Burke # 01 was the car to beat for most of the race but had to settle for second. Dave O'Blenis #48 grabbed the EIT Race Radios pole award earning +4 passing points in his heat race to claim the $150 cash bonus.

August 3, 2023 - Troy Burke #01 and Darren MacKinnon #18 battled hard up front for most of the BJ's Truck Center 150 on the East Coast International Pro Stock Tour last Saturday at Oyster Bed Speedway until Jarrett Butcher #54 and Russell Smith Jr. #88 were able to get by on lap 138 and steal victory from the islanders. Mackinnon finished in third place with Craig Slaunwhite #99 getting past Troy Burke at the checkers to round out the top five.

July 26, 2023 - Ashton Tucker #2 dominated the River Glade International Fleetrite 150 last Saturday night at Petty Raceway, holding off Jonathan Hicken #99 subbing for Craig Slaunwhite and Jarrett Butcher #54 who finished 2nd and 3rd respectively. On Sunday afternoon the program postponed from Friday evening saw Koven Lewis #46 win the biggest race of his career in the River Glade International Sportsman 100 over a hard charging Brady Creamer #10 and Drew Greenlaw #23.

July 18, 2023 - Reigning East Coast International Pro Stock Tour Champ, Craig Slaunwhite #99 became the second racer to complete the Maritime Triple last weekend by winning the IWK 250 at Riverside Speedway. Slaunwhite managed to get by NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver Carson Hocevar, #23 driving the Cat car for Kids with 14 laps to go and hung on for the win over Nicholas Naugle #08 and Russell Smith Jr. #88. In MASS series action on Friday night, Chris Reid #8 dominated for the win and claimed the EIT Race Radios Hard Charger Award. Cory Hall #08 captured the Cross Roads Maritime League of Legends 50 lap feature.

July 11, 2023 - Cory Hall #83 picked up his first Super Late Model Series victory last Saturday night in the Fog City Auto Spa 150 at Petty Raceway. Ryan Messer #1 picked up the EIT Race Radios Pole Award.

June 28, 2023 - Nicholas Naugle #08 had a fast machine last Saturday to make it 2 wins in a row on the East Coast International Pro Stock Tour at Scotia Speedworld. The MASS Sportsman 100 lap feature saw more tight competition as Pete Miller #92 took the checkers after front runners Deven Smith #94 and Brady Creamer #10 got together on the final lap in the final turn. They finished the race in 11th and 12th places.

June 21, 2023 - The second Super Late Model Series race of the season was another well attended hard fought race at Oyster Bed Speedway last Saturday. Greg Proude #29 got his first win of the season to lead an island team sweep of the podium over Darren McKinnon #18 and Dylan Gosbee #16. Troy Burke #01 started on the pole after blazing through the field for 5 passing points in his heat race to take the EIT Race Radios Pole Award.

June 13, 2023 - 3 races and 3 different winners as of last Saturday at Riverside International Speedway for the East Coast International Pro Stock Tour. Nicholas Naugle #08 was first across the stripe following an intense battle for lead in the closing laps over Craig Slaunwhite #99 and Donald Chisholm #89.

June 6, 2023 - Mother nature washed away all the racing in the region last weekend as much needed rainfall started just before heat races ran at Scotia Speedworld around 7:00 pm Friday evening and blanketed our fire ravaged provinces pushing Saturday's SLMS race at Petty Raceway to July 8.

May 30, 2023 - Race #2 on the East Coast International Pro Stock Tour also featured a first time Tour winner last Saturday at Speedway 660 in Geary, NB. Ryan Messer #1 took the checkers at the East Coast International 150 and is now 2 for 2 at his home track having won the inaugural rain-delayed Super Late Model 150 race there on Sunday, May 14. Congratulations Ryan!

May 25, 2023 - We had a first time winner last Saturday on the East Coast International Pro Stock Tour. Congratulations to Jarrett Butcher #54 for the big win at his home track. Gage Gilby #25 took the checkers in the 50 lap Crossroads Maritime League of Legends season opener.

May 15, 2023 - Congratulations to Ryan Messer #1 who made history last Sunday in the rain delayed inaugural 150 lap race for the new Super Late Model Series at Speedway 660. Dylan Gosbee #16 took the EIT Race Radios Pole Award and finished 4th.

March 22, 2023 - We are busy gearing up for a full Maritime racing season again this summer. Our Track Side Schedule is now complete and work on product selection and pricing is underway.

October 12, 2022 - Cole Butcher #53 won again in the final ECIPST race of the season, the Tirecraft 200 at Scotia Speedworld on Saturday, October 1. Craig Slaunwhite #99 is a back to back Champion on the tour clinching his second title with a sizeable points lead over second place contender Russell Smith Jr. #88. Russell's brother Deven Smith #94 captured the Fleet Brake Atlantic Sportsman Championship at Scotia Speedworld Friday night making him a back to back Champion in that class.

September 28 - Cole Butcher #53 took the checkers at Petty Raceway on Saturday Sep. 17 in the 200 lap Mike Stevens Memorial Super Late Model Pro Stock race over the largest field of entries (29) for a Pro Stock race in the Maritimes this season. Brady Creamer #10 won the Late Model Sportsman 100 lap feature.

September 12 - Greg Proude #29 crossed the stripe first last Saturday evening at Riverside Speedway in the East Coast International 150 but was DQ'd following post-race technical inspection for an unapproved part. Cole Butcher #53 earned the victory with Mike Rodgers #41 and Donald Chisholm #89 completing the podium.

Big Congratulations to Deven Smith #94 for winning the 75 lap feature and the inaugural AutoWorld Maritime Allstar Sportsman Series Championship on Saturday at Riverside Speedway.

September 9 - Big Winners at Speedweekend at Speedway 660 last weekend were Travis Conroy #7 in the AMT race Friday night, Brady Creamer #10 took the Riverview Ford 150 for Sportsman on Saturday and Ashton Tucker #2 won the Pro Stock 250. Congratulations to all the winners.

September 1 - Craig Slaunwhite returned to the top of the podium last Saturday at Petty Raceway taking the Cummins 150 on the East Coast International Pro Stock Tour for his 4th tour win this season.

August 24 - Chris Reid #8 made it 2 for 2 last Saturday at Riverside Speedway taking the AutoWorld Maritime Allstar Sportsman Series Napa Auto Parts/Henry's Auto Pro 150. Patty Lawrence #134 won the Hot Rod Classics Series 25 lap feature and Mat Watson #27 took home the cash in the East Coast Mini Stock Tour 60 lap feature.

August 18 - The first Summer Clash 250 at Scotia Speedworld turned out to be a marathon with 250 green flag laps and over 200 caution laps before Ashton Tucker #2 crossed the stripe to win the biggest race of his career. An experiment with Controlled Cautions was part of the reason for the extended distance which saw many teams run of fuel but it did make for an exciting finish as Tucker, Russell Smith Jr. #88 and Jarrett Butcher #54 battled side by side through turn 4 to decide the winner. Pete Miller #92 won the 100 lap Sportsman race on Friday night.

August 9, 2022 - It was a successful re-opening for Bud's Speedway in Sydney last weekend. The stands were packed, the weather was warm and the 100 lap MASS race did not disappoint. Hometown favorite Chris Reid #8 faced stiff challenges from Brady Creamer #10, Laurie Cormier #53, Deven Smith #94 and Jerome Kehoe #98 but still managed to lead every lap and take the win.

August 4, 2022 - We had another first time Winner on the East Coast International Pro Stock Tour last weekend at Oyster Bed Speedway, PEI. Part time competitor, Cory Hall # 83 broke through for the win after battling hard with Craig Slaunwhite #99 who came home second

June 27, 2022 - Its 3 wins in 4 events and counting for Craig Slaunwhite #99 after a tough battle with Cole Butcher #53 last Saturday at the Nova Truck Centers 150 at Scotia Speedworld, Owen Mahar #66 got his first feature win of the season on the Maritime League of Legends Tour undercard.

June 24, 2022 - Nicholas Naugle #08 of Dartmouth, NS is the 2022 River Glade International Champion for Super Late Models. Congratulations Nick on getting the prestigious win at Petty Raceway last Saturday over some stiff competition. Congratulations also go out to Alexandra O'Blenis #74 of Boundary Creek, NB who took the Late Model Sportsman side of the River Glade International.

June 15, 2022 - With excellent weather and a good crowd on hand last weekend at Riverside Speedway there was a first time winner on the East Coast International Pro Stock Tour - Kyle Reid #42, Congratulations Kyle. The race itself was marred by a lengthy red flag to clean up oil on the speedway and after that the mayhem started. Of the 17 cars that started the event only 5 were left running when the race was called on lap 148 and ended under caution. Hopefully, that is the only one of these races we will witness on the Tour this year.

June 7, 2022 - 2 racers have enjoyed back to back Pro Stock wins this season so far. At the double header weekend at Speedway 660, Dave O'Blenis #48 was able to win both features marking his 99th and 100th career Pro Stock feature wins. Congratulations Dave!

The ECIPST has run 2 events so far but only 1 winner. Craig Slaunwhite #99 took the season opener at Scotia Speedworld on May 21 and followed it up with another win at Petty Raceway on June 4. Congratulations Craig!

May 10, 2022 - It looks like we're going back to a full season of racing this year if fuel prices and tire shortages don't scuttle the plans. Assuming everything goes ahead we are pleased to renew our past sponsorships and add some new ones this season.
Once again we are sponsoring the East Coast International Pro Stock Tour and awarding the highest finishing full time race team that hasn't won a feature this season the Consistency Award.
We have pitched in to help out the new Autoworld Maritime Allstar Sportsman Series and will be sponsoring the Most Laps Led award.
We are also going to sponsor the The Maritime League of Legends Tour this season with an award to be determined.
We have renewed sponsorships of the East Coast Mini Stock Tour (the Hard Charger Award), the Atlantic Modified Tour, Speedway Miramichi, the Heart of a Champion Hot Rods Classic Series, the #94 Deven Smith Sportsman team and Tims Corner Motorsports and TV with the Hometown Hero Award.

October 7, 2021 - Our Covid crippled 2021 trackside season ended last weekend, October 1, 2 and 3 at Scotia Speedworld near Halifax. Congratulations to all of the champions crowned in each of the divisions competing. Craig Slaunwhite #99 became the 2021 East Coast International Pro Stock Tour Champion with his 3rd place finish in the Cummins 150 last Saturday afternoon. Deven Smith #94 won the Fleet Brake Atlantic Sportsman Championship with his 3rd place run on Sunday afternoon. We're already looking forward to 2022.

September 15, 2021 - Craig Slaunwhite #99 made it 3 in row last weekend at Riverside Speedway in the ECIPST Cat 150 race Saturday afternoon. Craig and 30 other teams are on the entry list for next weekends big Mike Stevens Memorial 200 lap event at Petty International Raceway near Moncton, NB. This will be the last big weekend of racing in the Maritimes now that Nova Scotia has extended covid restrictions until October 4th.

September 1, 2021 - Last weekend's Cummins 150 at Petty Raceway in New Brunswick was canceled due to Covid border restrictions imposed by the Nova Scotia government on Wednesday morning. The plan is to reschedule the event when more reasonable border rules are in effect.

August 24, 2021 - There was another low car count last Saturday for the Wilson Equipment Twin 75's at Riverside Speedway and the grandstands were still in lockdown keeping the crowd to a minimum and services non-existent.. Craig Slaunwhite #99 dominated the event and got his second ECIPST win in a row this season. Pete Miller #75 took the Napa Sportsman series 75 lapper. GET VACCINATED! and we'll see you at the races.

July 21, 2021 - The East Coast International Pro Stock Tour ran a season opener at Scotia Speedworld last Saturday night and many think it was a mistake. The ECIPST season opener should have been at Petty Raceway on July 10 (originally scheduled as an ECIPST race) where the Covid rules are reasonable and the car count and racing was excellent. Last Saturday night July 17, 2 other tracks in the Maritimes ran scheduled Pro Stock races. Congratulations to the 3 winners - Cole Butcher #53 at Scotia Speedworld (8 car field), Ashton Tucker #2 at Speedway 660 (17 car field), and Dylan Gosbee #91 at Oyster Bed Speedway (6 car field). It would have been nice to see the 3 winners and the rest of the teams competing together in the same race on that night preferably at a New Brunswick track where the Covid rules make sense and everyone could have enjoyed the event.

September 23, 2020 - The 7th annual Mike Stevens Memorial ran 2 full days of racing under sunny skies at Petty Raceway last weekend. Jonathan Hicken #5 won the 200 lap Pro Stock Feature for his 4th MSM win. Jordan Veinotte #11 took the Late Model Sportsman 100 lap feature followed closely by Brandon Carter #65 in his very first Sportsman start. Chris Wilson #2W won the Atlantic Modified Tour 50 lap feature and Jim Rankin #63 won the second ever Heart of a Champion vintage Hot Rods race.

September 17, 2020 - The Jim Hallahan 250 ran last Saturday at Scotia Speedworld for a very limited number of fans. Covid rules in Nova Scotia required that metal fencing separated the sparse crowd into the necessary groups of no more that 250 fans. With that in place it was not possible to setup on the grandstand side or provide radio services to grandstand spectators. Cole Butcher # 53 won the event, with Ashton Tucker #2 a strong second followed by Nicolas Naugle #08 completing the podium.

September 11, 2020 - Last weekend marked another very successful Speedweekend for Speedway 660 despite Covid 19. The 20th anniversary event looked a little different but fans got their fill of racing action. Ashton Tucker #2 took home the win in the Pro Stock division, Along with the big trophy and over $ 21,000 in prize money, Ashton celebrated his 2nd consecutive Speedweekend 250 win, a feat never before accomplished.

September 3, 2020 - Rain washed away all racing in the Maritimes last weekend so everyone is ready for Speedway 660's main event - Speedweekend coming up Sep. 4,5 and 6.

June 30, 2021 - The NS border opened with the rest of Atlantic Canada this morning at 8:00. Let the regional racing begin. Fans are permitted with reasonable protocols in place in New Brunswick. PEI and Nova Scotia are still severely limiting attendance at race events which may limit racing activity in those provinces until changes are made.

August 26, 2020 - Austin MacDonald #13 got back to business in the Pro Stock class at Speedway 660 last Saturday night taking his first ever Pro Stock class feature win after not racing in the class since early spring. Kyle Boudreau took the win in the Second annual Gunslinger 50 for Speedway 660's Sharpshooter class.

August 20, 2020 - Jonathan Hicken #5 won a hard fought victory at Petty Raceway last Saturday night to take the River Glade International trophy. Ashton Tucker #2 settled for second after battling hard for the lead. Jordan Veinotte #11 led wire to wire for the win in the Late Model Sportsman division 100 lap event. Cy Harvey #49 won the inaugural Heart of a Champion Hot Rod Classics 20 lap race.

August 12, 2020 - EIT Race Radios is a proud sponsor and official radio supplier for the new Heart of a Champion Hot Rod Classics Vintage Race Car Series which premieres this Saturday evening as part of the 56th annual River Glade International weekend at Petty Raceway.

August 12, 2020 - Ashton Tucker #2 has been on a roll with another 150 lap Pro Stock win last Saturday night at Speedway 660 in the Geary woods. Logan Power #10 is now 2 for 2 with his second win in row Atlantic Modified Tour competition.

August 6, 2020 - Logan Power #10 won the AMT feature in his series debut last Saturday at Petty Raceway in a car owned by Greg and Darrell Butler. The win gives him an opportunity to back it up this weekend in round 2 of the series at Speedway 660 Saturday night. Jordan Veinotte won the 60 lap Sportsman feature.

June 25, 2020 - The regional borders are opening and that means racing can happen here again. The first event we will attend is the Brycon Construction 150 Bubble Buster at Petty Raceway on July 4, 2020. This will be the first Pro Stock / Super Late Model race in Canada since the pandemic shut everything down in March.

June 8, 2020 - What a difference a few months can make. In February, we were contemplating an exciting 2020 race season with action from all our usual touring and track series and a new Hot Rod Classics series. We were preparing to order in new inventory and gear up for the track-side season. Now with the global coronavirus pandemic, we are wondering if it will be possible to have live racing with fans at all this season in the Maritimes. We are still open at the shop and some race teams have been taking advantage of the situation to send in all of their radio equipment for service, repairs or upgrades and we are thankful for that. We hope they get to use their equipment yet this season and hope to be in attendance. Until then everybody, stay healthy and do what you can to crush this Covid-19 pandemic.
